In transit for a day - luggage storage and Chatuchak

We are in transit for one day at Bangkok airport and transfering to a domestic flight and we have the following questions -

Is there any storage avaiable for one day at the airpiort for our luggage?

Is it possible on that day - a Saturday to catch a taxi to Chatuchak market for a few hours shopping and lunch and then a taxi to return us to the airport for our flight? Are taxis easy to find outside of the market?

Here is a left baggage service operated by Chubb next to the Tourist Police office (2nd or 3rd floor).

There will be a large number of taxis waiting outside or cruising close to the market.
