the baht rate is awful at the moment. is it really gonna be any better there or should i just change it up now in england? im getting a rate of about 50 here.
thanks.
exchange rate? should i change money there?
No one can predict which way exchange rates will go. In general, you always get the best rates inside Thailand.

Normally get better rate in Thailand. But last summer when the rate was around 60 baht in U.K. advised posters to wait and get currency in Thailand - dont think anyone thought it would drop to the 50 ish baht to pound in Thailand. As stated before, no one knows whether it has now stabilised or will go up/down.
thanks. i was getting about 70 to the pound a few years back. the rate has dropped so much now. dont think ill be eating me 拢1 market dinners this year!!!
Bill is absolutely right.
If people knew in advance which way the rates would go, then everyone would already be running in that direction, which means that the rates would already have arrived where people think they%26#39;re going.
By the way, why would people carry wads of foreign cash around with them, waiting for it to be lost or stolen? I always get my money at the banking machines after I arrive, or better still, put my purchases on a credit card that I don%26#39;t have to pay until I get home.
