What beach do I go to?

Hi Everyone,

This is my second trip to Thailand. Last time I spent most of it in the northern regions but did stay in Krabi for a few days.

Didn%26#39;t like the town in Krabi very much, I did do the tours and the beaches were beautiful. Would like to go somewhere different with a nice beach town? Help! Suggestions are much appreciated. :-)

Have you thought of taking an hours flight down to Koh Samui. Here the beaches are beautiful and there is plenty of nightlife if you want it. Also lots of restaurants to choose from.

I would like to recommend Baan Boa Resort Phuket.

On the quieter side of Patong Beach, but within easy walking distance of everything. Cosy hotel, nice clean rooms, good breakfeast, friendly staff and excellent price.

What time of year are you goinf and what type of beach resort / beach or island are you looking for.

There are so many beaches and places to go.

Depends if you just want beach or perhaps you weant some culture and nature too ?

Whether national parks / treks, history, narute, rivers etc interest you at all.

Also how important are restaurants, shopping, nightlife etc.

Such a large choice and variety.

I will be heading to Thailand at the begining of April with a friend so would love a place that has a bit of everything you suggested. I want to relax a bit and also snorkle, hike, site see. Are there place where you can stay that have bungalow type of hotel on the beach?

Thank you for your suggestion. Yes, I was thinking Ko Samui. What kind of town is it and is it like Phuket or what can I expect. Do you know of places to stay.
