Wedding on Koh Samui

Has anyone got married at Faraway Villa Koh Samui as I am thinking about getting married there and would like some advice on how it went.

Or if you got married at Nora Resort aswell.

Wedding on Koh Samui

We got married at the Nora Beach Resort on 23rd february.

Everything about the wedding was fantastic, the wedding planner - Mr Lloyd - ensured that we got the wedding we were looking for and the attention to detail was excellent - they wanted everything to be perfect.

We had a legal marriage as well as a ';traditional'; thai buddhist ceremony and it was all so easy and relaxed from our point of view and there were no glitches at all.

The staff were all excellent and made a real fuss of us for the whole time we stayed at the hotel.

I will be posting a full review under the nora beach section and some pics as soon as I get chance

We got married at the faraway villa last June and it was the most fantastic day. I cannot recommend them enough. We opted for the buddist blessing with a civil marriage ceremony on the beach. we had our reception there afterwards on the lawn of the villa. The service and attention to detail was amazing. we also opted for fireworks afterwards but brought our own ipods for evening entertainment! There were twenty of us altogether. Let me know if you have any specific questions that i could try and help with.

I personally think that our wedding was very reasonably priced.

You can tailor the package to your own needs - we added on legal registration, lunch, private bbq for our guests and some flowers onto the original price but you can just do the advertised ceremony.

There are many other things that you can add on and if they are not listed they will no doubt do their best to sort you out with your wishes.

The attention to detail was exceptional and meant we had a really relaxed time as well as a great wedding
