Anyone any idea how is this hotel like? Is it convenient? Nice? Close to shopping? Just read from internet it is newly open, so have not read any reviews about this hotel yet.

Hotel Ibis Bangkok NanaI have been by this place, I think there is an internet shop and Seven Eleven nearby. Never stayed there. I have used a cheaper hotel not too far from this place a few times, Happy Inn (600 baht with air and private toilet.)
Location. This place is not that far from the Nana Skytrain stop, perhaps 10 minutes. Other Hotels near here are the Nana and Rajah. You will pass the Nana Entertainment Plaza which is full of go-go bars and beer bars, very popular with tourists. Restaurants and malls are not that far walking, meter taxi cabs may not be needed if you don%26#39;t mind a 15 minute walk. Lots of street vendors on Sukhumvit Road.
Coming from Sukhumvit Road you go down Soi 4. If I remember right you are on the left side. Looks okay from the outside. You do not have to book your whole trip at one time you can book a couple nights and look around unless it is Christmas or New Years holiday time.
It depends on the price you are getting, but on the link I Googled up the prices seem to be under 1000 baht for a new place. You could do worse.
