Saw this post on the KL forum, not sure if anyone has any other info, I checked Wired%26#39;s web site, I could not see any accom prices for any hotels anywhere.

Wired destinations???Hi Lee,
Sounds like something strange is going on!! Jane checked and also could not find any prices on there site.
We used them last year to book our Phuket accommodation and we have also recommended them to others.
Hopefully we will find out whats going on soon as i am sure there will be others that have booked with them as well.

Aparently customers have been receiving emails saying that they have ceased operations due to financial problems.
Hi All booled and paid for accom with wired destinations in Oct 2008 arrived at resort March 3 2009 no confirmation, they had not been paid had to pay again on credit. Have tried to contact wired destinations but have had no luck
OMG Lynda you poor thing. We originally had a booking with them for the Banthai for June 2009, but canceled it in Dec as we paid almost $200 more than the agreed booking and confirmation price due to drop in exchange rate. They said they never received the amount of money that was deducted from our bank account and tried refunding the original exchange rate price, eventually we got it sorted out in early Jan this year. I wonder how many other people will get stung by this? Hope you can get some compensation from your insurance?
