Air Asia - do you need to confirm flight before flying?

Hi there,

We arrive in BKK on 23rd March with Qatar and then have an Air Asia flight booked to go down to Krabi.

My e-ticket thing on the Air Asia website says ';Confirmed'; but I am not sure if we have to reconfirm that we will be flying within 72 hours of the actual flight.

Can anyone advise please?

Thanks :-)

It%26#39;s not a booking, it%26#39;s a purchase of ticket. The seat is yours no matter if you turn up or not. So no need confirmation.

probably best to confirm flight, not because of the purchase, but the flight , confirming there are no delays...

If there is a delay, they will usually send you a text message through the mobile you have registered at the point when you purchased your ticket or via e-mail.

Thanks for info!

Will check the timings just before we leave the UK, hopefully the flight will still be at teh correct time!

thanks again
