Citadines Sukhumvit 11 Hotel

Hi

Would like to know if this hotel is recommended for a 3 nights stay in BKK. Any shopping around the hotel? Heard that it is close to many night clubs, is it very noisy? Is it a safe area to stay in. Pls advise.

I stayed at this hotel in December. Very new hotel. Nice bar attached to the hotel. Yes its near many night clubs, but I didnt notice any noise at night.

Staff very helpfull.

Area is safe, but like anywhere in the world you need to be sensible.

Not many shops near the hotel, but they are a short walk away or MBK is a short trip on the Sky Train

Citadines Sukhumvit 11 Hotel

I stayed at Citadines Soi 23 in January for a couple of nights. Very nice place. All Citadines are new and have the same room layouts. Chose Soi 23 over Soi 11 location simply for ease of parking.

I also stayed at Citadines Soi 23. Just back this week. Also a very good hotel. Quieter area. Staff not as good as soi 11. But still a good hotel.

What about Citadines in Soi 16?

Actually I prefer one that is not near to bars or night clubs. Which is the best that is away from the bars - soi 11, 23 or 16?

I haven%26#39;t stayed in Soi 16. Soi 23 would be better for you. No bars or nightclubs, just massage places. But saying that Soi 11 isnt that busy near the hotel. I would go soi 23.

I am thinking of staying in Citadines Soi 8.

Noticed it was slightly cheaper than other Citadines, would anyone know the reason for this?

What is the difference between Citadines Soi 8 or 11?

How far is it to walk to the sky train from Citadines 23? Any shopping nearby?

The Skytrain is about a 10-15 minute walk (if that). You can cut through Soi Cowboy, turn left and you arrive at the station.

There are a few shops on the way. More near the skytrain. Bigger shops a stones throw away

Thanks. So if I take the long way to the Sky train, I will not pass by Soi Cowboy right? I am really not keen to pass by the bars and clubs.
