Best way to get accomodation?

Flying into BKK on the 31st of this month, be there for a couple of days then getting a flight down to Samui and heading across for the FMP.

Im looking to get to Ko Phangan for around the 3rd/4th and the FMP is on the 9th, will there be plenty of room for a walk in in most hotels or should i book now? Also for anyone with experience, is it best to stay on the island or get the boat over from Samui for the night?

Best way to get accomodation?

We walked in the night before a full moon party, about 18 months ago. Around Haad rin, the hotels get very busy, some with min 5 night stay. you can stay further away from Haad rin and get better accomodation for beter rates. You are more likely to be able to barter the price down.

I would recommend staying in Phangan. It isn%26#39;t as developed as Samui, however it is very relaxed and is great to relax for a coupl of days.

We will be there for full moon party 9th April as well.

if you are arriving that many days ahead of the FMP just turn up

there will be loads of places to stay and choose from

also, i would stay on kpg for the whole time instead of just getting a boat over for the FMP night

the night itself is only part of it. the week before and after is also great to be there
