can someone kindly how far in klong toey port to silom area.. my cruise ship is dropping us off there, i am just wondering if it is easy to get a cab from the port to silom area,even late at night?

It would take half and hour or less,depending on time of day. Are you sure it%26#39;s Kong Toey Port? As only small ships use that city center port, larger ships use Laem Chabang port in Chonburi province, about an hour from Bangkok.

yes, it is a small cruise.. only for 700 passengers.. would you know if there is any mtr or subway station at the pier or withing walking distance? is it easy to get a cab at the pier?
Should not be a problem to get a taxi there. The nearest MRT station is a good 25 minute walk.
