Visit To Thailand

I am planning to visit Thailand in May for 10 days.Planning to visit Bangkok, Pattaya, Krabi and Phuket. Would be taking flight from Delhi to Bangkok and back. If I would like to avoid flights within Thailand, then what route would be best.

How many hours would it take between bangkok-pattaya ; bangkok-krabi ; bangkok-phuket and krabi-phuket???

What places would be best to visit in these cities??

Visit To Thailand

Bangkok-Pattaya - about 2 hours by bus.

Bangkok-Krabi, Bangkok-Phuket - about 1 hour to fly, about 11 hours by bus.

Krabi-Phuket - 2-3 hours by bus.

Visit To Thailand

There is so much diversity and variety in Thailand, from large and busy resorts to small quiet locations, beaches and islands range from very quiet to %26#39;packed out%26#39; so you can find plenty of options.

It comes down to how you want to spend your time, 10 days is not so long, I would cut down the number of places.

tell us how you want to spend days, whether lazing on a beach or around a pool or if you want to do sightaseeing - if so whether you are into beaches and say snorkeling or whether you like national parks and culture etc.

Also how important shopping and nightlife etc would be.

Bangkok will be your best for shopping. You can travel by road (bus) from bangkok to Pattaya and also down the coast to islands such as Koh Samet or Koh Chang, you can also bus or train south from Bangkok along the coastal towns and beaches and then ferry to islands such as Koh Tao, Koh Phangan and Koh Samui.

For krabi or Phuket it is flights or a very long probably 13 hours plus bus.

Is it better to take a flight from BKK to Phuket or Bkk-Krabi. Cost wise which one would be better.Apart from thai airways and Bangkok air is there any more better option which would be more economical??

Sight-seeing is my priority. but don%26#39;t wnat to see repeated things. Like if I have seen temples in one place would prefer seeign somethign else at the next place.

Fly BKK to Krabi with Air Asia, or BKK to Phuket with Air Asia or Nok Air, booked on the internet. Cost is around 1500 baht, depending on how far ahead you book.
