Hotel near Hualamphong Station

Dear Travellers,

Need some advise here.. Me %26amp; my friend will be in BKK at Apr 11 and the day after we%26#39;ll go to phuket by train and after 4 days at phuket, we%26#39;ll go again to siam reap (the route a little bit strange, isn%26#39;t?).

Is there any suggestion hotel near the station? We%26#39;re on a medium budget, prefer the hotel to have a clean bathroom..

If there is a suggestion for the route, please advise..

Cheers,

Reea

Hotel near Hualamphong Station

Montien Hotel on Rama IV Rd. One underground stop to Hualampong Station and just down the road by taxi 5mins depending on traffic. You can even walk to underground (MRT).

Other option may be Mandarin Hotel. I cannot comment on the hotel standard. It is rather old and had a fire damage.

More upmarket and a bit further away, yet at MRT Silom is Dusit Thani. Check their rates. This is a 4 star.

There are no hotels very near the station where would want to stay.

Hotel near Hualamphong Station

Bangkok Center Hotel is walking distance from the station. There are lots of guest house and small hotel around that area too.

Any hotel near Sukhumvit-Asoke (sois 10-23 for instance) or near the top of Silom Road is on the MRT line, and thus only a few minutes away from Hualamphong. Much better choice than the actual vicinity of the station.

Guys.. thanks for the suggestion.

I might be staying at Silom Hotel (silom soi 5), is it still near enough the hualamphong station?

Because, i%26#39;ll be arrived at BKK at night and the next day go to siam reap or phuket.. Is the hotel good enough and not to far from hualamphong station?

Location is fine. I cannot comment on the standard as I don%26#39;t know the hotel.

Can%26#39;t find any Silom Hotel in Silom Soi 5. Do you mean Room at Silom Hotel (formerly Silom Trinity)? Location is fine, but if you%26#39;re paying any more than 1500 baht for this hotel, you%26#39;re overpaying IMHO.

Anyway, it would be only a few minutes walk from the MRT station.

yes, thats the one bill.. Is it near any shopping area?

All kinds of shopping on Silom, and it%26#39;s about 10 minutes by BTS from the concentration of malls around Siam.
